Painted Renegade Imperial Guard Infantry Unit

I've finished painting up my first unit of Renegade Imperial Guard, which I've converted from some Wargames Factory Shock Troops with Victrix French Old Guard Grenadier heads. Take a look at the results, and let me know what you think.

  1. Excellent conversion. It's a seamless fusion.

  2. One of the best kit-bashed units I've seen in a long while - Seamless as CT said and easy enough to do by the sound of it - great vision!

  4. Thanks! They turned out pretty well, but I think the pink might be a little bright. I may try to make it darker, or maybe just duller. Maybe I'll paint the pink before I do the wash next time and see how that turns out.

  5. I'm not a huge fan of the pink, but other than that I really like them. Turned out sweet. Except the bases... that's a hellagreen base. :)

  6. I say go with the backpacks. Their renegades and probably don't have a great supply line so they need to bring all they need. Besides where else would they keep their trophies of severed fingers and heads?
